It gives me great pleasure to share with you some of the new and exciting things that are happening here at Pilot. Our menu of services recently broadened with the launch of our newest division, the Automotive Sector. We’re applying 37 years of freight forwarding knowledge and experience to this global industry. Our new in-house talent, backed with years of automotive freight experience, combined with Pilot’s long standing relationships and flexibility provide our automotive vendors with superior service.
Our Logistics Services and Special Services divisions are delivering diverse solutions, too. More and more, businesses require tailored solutions to fit their unique transportation needs and are challenging Pilot to stretch its boundaries to provide unparalleled customized warehousing, logistics and delivery options. And unlike other providers that are limited by what they can do, Pilot’s flexible and reliable network delivers.
Our customer resides at the core of everything we do and for over three decades we’ve taken pride in knowing their satisfaction is a job well done for Pilot. That’s why, like any smart business, we listen when they talk, no matter what they have to tell us. This open exchange has been vital to the success of CoPilot, our online shipping navigator. Thousands of users who log on every day to book, ship and track deliveries, gave us their feedback and we have responded making CoPilot even more efficient.
Finally, it gives us great pride when our industry peers recognize Pilot’s hard work and innovation. We received our 18th Quest for Quality award and 3rd consecutive Ryder Carrier award, two honors that carry a distinguished mark of excellence.
